Home Decor: Modern Farmhouse Edition
I have been loving all things farmhouse decor! A few weeks ago Stephen and I went to IKEA for the first time just to check it out with the kids. We basically did a quick tour since both kids hadn’t napped lol. In doing so we realized that we were both just really into the farmhouse look. I wanted our home to have that vibe but with more earthy tones incorporated into it.
I have gathered a few pieces here that I love that have more of a modern farmhouse feel to it. I will do another post with more of the earthy tones I mentioned later. I have been on the hunt for the perfect neutral pieces. I am a lover of all things neutral, it also just makes more sense to start off that way since I know everything will match. We decided to just work on one room in our home at a time to make things less overwhelming. Whenever I have been searching for things for a particular room, i’ll find pieces that I know would look great in another room. That’s why I love the neutral/ earthy tones because they play off well with each other.
I have been OBSESSING over circular mirrors for some reason haha. I just HAVE to have one. They are just so classic and beautiful and add the perfect touch to literally any room! I added a couple kind of random pieces to this collage just because I thought they were cute, like the Glam Pitcher + Stirrer Set, despite not totally being farmhouse-like.
